Travelling the Wicked Highways from Johannesburg (12 June 2010) to Johannesburg (20 June 2010)

Hello Wicked World.
Joshua and Renny here. We are two vegeterian middle school teachers and huge soccer fans living in Austin, Texas. We are planning on getting to Johannesburg on the 10th of June and then watching the South Africa vs Mexico game from outside of the stadium. The next day, it is off to Rustenburg to see USA vs. England and then we are going to either celebrate or lick our wounds inside Kruger National Park for a few days. We have several campsites inside the park already booked. After Kruger, we are heading to Durban where we are considering Cage Diving with Great Whites. In Durban, we are going to see the Netherlands vs. Japan and then end our trip in Johannesburg watching Cote d’Ivoire vs. Brazil.
Right now, we have a place to stay in Johannesburg and in Kruger, but we are looking for places to camp in Rustenburg and Durban. If anybody has any insights, let us know.
We hope to meet up with fellow Wicked travelers on our trip and have a blast at our first ever World Cup trip.

Okay, so I am ready to go now. Renny and Erika are picking me up and then we are driving to Houston to get on the plane.
After hearing about the stampede at the game the other day, I must admit that I was a little nervous, but I think that the whole thing happened because (1) the game was free and over 20,000 people showed up to watch it but they were only letting in 12,000, and (2) official FIFA world cup security was not in place.
I feel confident that the games we will be attending will be safe and secure. Even so, I did research how to avoid/survive human stampedes and so I will be okay.
