Travelling the Wicked Highways from Johannesburg (9 June 2010) to Johannesburg (20 July 2010)

Hi wicked people, are you ready for this one?
Well I have booked my Wicked camper for 2010 and can’t wait to explore! After doing a lot of research and with the help of the Wicked Africa staff I’ve managed to build up my trip to see as much as possible.
I am going to make sure that I’m at the Oz games but I will be moving around South Africa.
I will be checking out the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg and the Union Buildings Pretoria. I’ll also be making a trip to the Orlando Towers for a bit of Bungee Jumping between the towers – this can only be a lot of fun.

Something else that is high on the agenda, is going to see the White Lions at Rhino and Lion Park which is also in Johannesburg. Gold Reef City will be a stop over for me to relax for the day and maybe night, with the many rides and stuff to see in the amusement park and I can already hear the casino calling me all the way from here in Adelaide. While I’m in Johannesburg I will be going to Soccer City not only to see this interesting design for a stadium, but watch the opening match between South Africa and Mexico. I’m not going to bet on a winner there, as I will be shouting for Australia to win.

Now that is just some of the places I’ll be going through in Johannesburg and Pretoria…If anyone has anymore places I should go see in Johannesburg and Pretoria then let me know.
My trip to Durban will consist of going down the coast, apparently the South Coast has some of the most amazing places…Margate and Port Shepstone. Also spend some lazy days at uShaka Marine World – with the tube ride, water slides, aquarium and so much more. The ocean will see lots of me, even if it’s just to tan. Apparently the Indian Ocean in Durban is the warmest sea water in the world, I can’t wait.
I will try and make my way to Cape Town via the coast, passing through the world famous Garden Route. I’ve heard that you end up making so many stops along this route as the sites to see are so magnificent you can’t just drive by.
So where are you going to be during this time as I would like to hook up with other Wicked travelers?
I also think it would look cool with a convoy of Wicked vans and their famous artwork.

Dear webmaster…
thanks for the hard work you do to keep this alive updated regularly….
I will be traveling somewhat, but as mentioned I will definitely be checking out the Oz and SA games. But going to SA means checking out all the historical places and having some fun. Will you guys be in Johannesburg at any time?
Sounds like you are going to have a lot of fun. (And be very busy). We will be concentrating more on the actual football. But would be good to meet up somewhere along the way. You can see our provisional itinerary under the Ghana and Richards Bay category.
